Senior Consultant Jørgen Bjerggaard Jensen is the new clinical professor and chair of Urology at the Department of Clinical Medicine and Aarhus University Hospital. The new professorship will strengthen research in the field of bladder cancer but will also provide a lever for clinical research within the rest of urology.

Research into children’s bedwetting by PhD student Cecilie Siggaard Jørgensen, and into the interplay of music and cognition by postdoc Leonardo Bonetti, both of the Department of Clinical Medicine, has earned them the Lundbeck Foundation’s Talent Prize 2022.

He is an expert in scanning brain cells, a professor at the Department of Clinical Medicine – and he is not yet 40. Now Christoffer Laustsen has also received the Lundbeck Foundation’s Young Investigator Prize 2022.
