The Main Hall was packed with people, and the atmosphere was both joyous and ceremonial when graduates from the Department of Dentistry and Oral Health celebrated the end of their studies on Friday 1 July.
This week, the world's first and only dental MRI scanner arrived at the Department of Dentistry and Oral Health. After four years of hard work, Aarhus University is to establish itself as the world's first research centre for dental-dedicated MRI imaging diagnostics. Associate Professor Rubens Spin-Neto, who was the driving force behind bringing the scanner to Aarhus, was both happy and relieved.
The postgraduate programme in orthodontics has just been admitted to the Network of Erasmus Based European Orthodontic Postgraduate Programmes. The international seal of approval means that the programme is one of the best in Europe.
