Target group

This symposium is intended for early-career researchers, clinicians, researchers, physicians and all who work in the fields of endocrinology, cardiometabolic research, clinical care, and public health with an interest in obesity and cardiovascular health.

Please note that you are not guaranteed a seat at the symposium if you do not meet the target group requirements. Priority is given to participants employed at Danish research and health institutions or in the life science industry, but a number of seats are reserved for participants employed at research and health institutions or in the life science industry abroad. If the event is overbooked, the DDEA/DCA reserves its right to select participants based on the defined requirements.

Dinner registration

We are organizing a networking dinner on 15 January. Participation in the dinner is free of charge. Please sign up for the dinner upon registration and indicate whether you have any dietary requirements.

Please note

It is free of charge to participate in the dinner, however the academies will charge a no-show fee of 50% of the meal cost if you do not show up and have not unregistered for the dinner.

Joint bus to dinner

There will be the opportunity to go by joint bus transportation from the venue to the dinner on 15 January. Please indicate whether or not you would like to join upon registration.

Latest cancellation date & no-show fee

Please note that it is free of charge to participate in the event however the academies will charge a no-show fee of 1000 DKK if you do not show up and have not unregistered from the event by 8 January 2026, except in the case of illness or emergencies.

  • Title of abstract (Use a short and specific title with title-style capitalization and put it in bold)
  • Presenting author name(s) (Underline the presenting author’s name)
  • Affiliation (Include unit, institution/company/hospital, city and country for all authors and put it in italic)

The body of the abstract contains the following content: background and aim, rationale, methods, results (if obtained to-date), conclusion (and perspectives)
