IT service disruptions during the weekend of 20 and 21 April
If you are working on campus during the weekend of 20 and 21 April 2024, you may experience service disruptions, as a number of AU’s IT systems and services will be temporarily out of service due to maintenance.
AU IT, AU Finance and AU Estates Projects and Development will carry out one of four planned service windows for this year from Saturday 20 April at 00:01 to Sunday 21 April at 23:59.
During this window, they will carry out system updates, network changes and tests. As a result, there will be periodic disruptions in service.
We need to perform this essential maintenance work to ensure that our systems (IT, electricity and so on) run smoothly, reliably and securely.
The IT service disruptions will happen at all AU locations.
Of course, you can still work on your computer, though you won’t be able to connect to central IT systems, shared drives or AU’s network.
What will be affected?
Some of the services that will be disrupted include financial management systems, Post.au.dk, SOA, GitLab and a number of web servers.
